Feel free to let the hate flow through you. Heck, I devoted space to The Witcher 3 a few years back for a series about my Pile of Shame, but after writing the article, I fell off the game completely.

It includes the Yakuza series (halfway through Yakuza 4), Mass Effect Legendary Edition (nearly finished the first game), Spider-Man Remastered, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut (need to get that platinum trophy), Control (those DLC campaigns won’t finish themselves), Hades (finishing the game on Switch wasn’t enough for me), NieR Replicant (still beating myself up that I’ve only done the first ending), Persona 5 Royal (one dungeon down, 100 hours to go) Umurangi Generation, Mario Golf: Super Rush, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Carrion, Vergil’s campaign in DMC V: Special Edition and likely countless others. Right now, my pile of active games that I’ve started but need to finish or only played for a brief period is massive.

While I made the case that it’s due to the insane competition that the quarter is hosting, there’s another reason that’s a little bit more selfish: I have too many games to play. A few days ago, I wrote an article about how Q1 2022 is looking pretty stacked, and I’d really like for it to calm down. There are 2 fights that are frankly bordering on ridiculous and they are Sturm (propeller head) who charges around the area given you only 2-3 seconds to shoot the weak spot on his backside and literally fills the area with fire every so often and Heisenberg who kills you in 3 hits with no exceptions.Someone please send me a liferaft or one of the rubber ring things they chuck at people who fall overboard, because I’m feeling a little adrift at the minute. which is a Magnum purchasable from the Duke in New Game + for 300,000 Lei which you will need to fully upgrade and kit out in order to be able to get infinite ammo, which once done should make the game a breeze as even on Village Of Shadows, most normal enemies die in 1 / 2 hits whereas the tougher enemies such as armoured Lycans, Soldat’s and bosses will go down a lot easier than with any other weapon

The Village Of Shadows difficulty unlocks after beating the game on any difficulty, even casual and will be a challenge for any player, especially during the boss fights as 2 / 3 hits will kill you and the enemies move faster, are a lot more aggressive, have much larger health pools and require you to have a good amount of skill and fortitude to get throughįortunately, once you beat the game on any difficulty you will have access to the Extra Content Shop found under bonuses from the main menu where you can buy infinite ammo upgrades which DO NOT impact trophies / achievements in any way
